Most businesses don’t deliberately design their technology stack. It grows with them. A new system solves one problem. A spreadsheet fills the gap between two others. Somebody manually moves information from one place to another. Eventually, the problem isn’t one piece of software. It’s how everything works together.
That’s where I come in.

That might mean connecting systems that don’t communicate, getting useful information out of fragmented data, automating repetitive processes, replacing unnecessary software, improving reporting or working out where AI can genuinely improve the way something is done.
Sometimes the answer is new technology. Sometimes it’s using what you already have differently. Sometimes it’s removing technology altogether.
The objective is not more technology. It’s a business that works better.

I believe that once something can be properly measured, it can begin to be understood and improved.
That often means looking beyond the workflow directly in front of us. A change that makes perfect sense in one part of a business can create problems somewhere else.
I start by understanding how the business actually operates, what information already exists, where it is disconnected and where the real constraint sits. Then we work out the right response.
That might be a process change, better reporting, integration, automation, AI, different software or something purpose-built. Technology comes afterwards.
